Accountability 😩

What's up DeKay Tribe,

It's ya girl DeKay and I'm here with another blog! Let's just jump right into it. Today has been a rough day can't lie. I have been self-reflecting and I can honestly say I know where I went wrong in a certain situation. Sometimes we are so blinded by what we want that we don't pay attention to that maybe this isn't the right time. Then you end up in something that doesn't work or go the way you initially thought due to other factors and the simple fact that it wasn't the right time. Now, you are hurt, lost, and confused 🫠

How can we avoid this?

I would say it's simple but being honest it's not 🥹 we are human and sometimes we cannot control our desires. I would like to say that a lot of people desire to be loved and have that special person (that may not be true for everyone). A lot of the time we run into people that we think are for us when they're showing us all the red flags in the world, but we still give them some type of grace because of love or were simply just afraid to lose them, because that's the best that we've ever experienced. Truth is if something is really for you it would always make its way back to you. You know, like the good old saying, if you love them, let them go and if they come back it's meant to be? I didn't use to believe that at first, but now I find myself believing it more than ever. The thing is when you let them go you have to truly focus on yourself. You can't keep focusing on them and how they are healing. If the work is truly being done, and you guys are truly meant to be, it will happen. Trust me, it's easier said than done especially when this person stays on your mind 24/7.

I will leave you guys with this.... you are doing the right thing. If it's meant to be, it will happen. Try to occupy yourself with different activities like painting, drawing, walking, exercise, and different things like that. Don't beat yourself up. Control the things that you can. Lastly, pray, and ask God for guidance so that you know you're going down the right path. Ask yourself would you date you? If the answer is no, you have some work to do! You got this! Keep pushing and remember a rainbow always comes out after a storm ❤️
